Welcome to the Everest website

Everest 2006If you are looking for information on how and when, to have an Everest adventure, this is the website for you.

The site is full of relevant information and has been prepared by people who have personal experience of the great mountain built up over many years. There is no better way to go to Everest than with those people who have first hand knowledge of its approaches, its best trekking routes and the main mountaineering routes to the summit. Every year we run an expedition to the North side of Everest and this year it is the Shipton 72nd anniversary expedition.

If you are looking for an Everest experience, at any level, you should find what you are looking for here. We want to help you decide the level of Everest challenge or experience you want to undertake, including the preparation required (if any) and the costs involved. For some it may provide the information that lets you know that such an adventure is not for you. That's fine too. Big mountains are not for everybody, and it is better to find that out now, rather than in the middle of your adventure.

There is also a section on what is required to become an Everest mountaineer, learning all the skills and gaining the right experience from scratch. We also explain about altitude sickness. This section has some very simple "dos and don'ts", and how to best prepare your self to be in an environment where the air is thinner than sea level.

For those that like facts and figures, there is information here too.

We hope that you find what you are looking for within these pages, and that you will allow us to manage your aspirations and ambitions for the Highest Mountain in the World.
